The Whispering Mountain

The isolated land of Cast lies under the watchful eye of the mountain, its summit obscured by the luminous clouds that give the world light. Upon the mountain are ancient citadels built to worship and communicate with the eye, connected by colossal bridges that span the entire land. Faceless children who awaken in Cast are bound to the Seeing Stones, and are subsequently drawn to the mountain, and to the towering citadels where they may ascend above the clouds and meet their fate in the cosmic darkness beyond.
